I found an amazing website that has it all when it comes to wedding planning. This is a free-to-use website that’s easy to sign up for. You can create an account with an e-mail address, or you can choose to connect it with your facebook account (which is what I’m choosing to do).
With your Knot account, you can create guest lists, look through real photos of weddings for inspiration, manage your budget and registry, and even work with a checklist to keep you on task until the big day.
This is a website that I recommend to all future brides to make wedding planning a breeze. After all, this is such an overwhelming time with all of the planning that needs to be done that it’s best to make it as fun and easy as possible!
If you’re getting married, you know that it is a time of fun and excitement but can also be a little bit overwhelming. There is so much planning to do and it seems like there are a ton of choices.
My best friend is getting married in August and I am trying to help her with as much as possible. I am wanting to send out the invitations soon for her bridal shower, so her and I went to Kohl’s last week and helped her register. We were both really happy with their selection and variety of items. The person helping us said that guests of the wedding love it because they can save money since items often go on sale.
If you’ve been married, where are great places to register?
I feel like people either love or hate wedding planning. There really doesn’t seem to be any “middle ground” with it. I, personally love it. I’m such a planner though, that this is something that is fun for me. If you’re a “planner” as well, you will find that wedding planning takes it to a whole new level.
Just how much has to be figured out? Here’s some examples: venue, date, music, wedding party, wedding party attire, wedding jewelry, food, cake, drinks, honeymoon destination, decorations, readings, and so much more. That’s why it takes so long to plan a wedding… there is SO much involved.
The hardest part for me was to pick out wedding jewelry. That is because after the big day is all over, the wedding jewelry remains forever. If you’re looking for somebody to help you out, check out these wedding rings Orange County has to offer at the Simone and Son jewelry store.
Did you know about The Knot? This is my FAVORITE website for wedding planning because it has EVERYTHING I could ever imagine. I don’t think I would leave out any little details with the great coverage this site provides.
You can make a guest list, pick out wedding colors, search through thousands of wedding rings, bridal dresses, bridal party dresses, cakes, centerpiece ideas, honeymoon destinations, bouquet ideas, hairstyles, reception ideas, and so much more. There are plenty of resources available in your area and they provide names, phone numbers, and addresses of photographers, DJs, bands, and venue ideas.
This website really has it all. The Knot also has a magazine and you can follow them on Pinterest for more great ideas.
Are you in the middle of planning a wedding? If so, you know just how many options you have when it comes to options for attire, decor, music, food, and so much more. When people are getting overwhelmed with all of the choices, I always tell them to make the wedding like the couple. This means making as many things custom as possible. There is no other way to be truly original. After all, this is YOUR big day.
Here are a couple of ways to customize your wedding! Custom cake toppers are WAY better than the boring old figurines of the bride and groom on top of the cake. You can make the cake fit you by getting initials or something else special to represent you! Another great way to make your day special is with custom designed rings. This way, your wedding ring isn’t just like everybody else’s… it represents the special bond that you share. Another suggestion I have is custom ceremony accessories. This can include an aisle runner, guest book, ring bearer pillow, flower girl basket, and more!
