With everyone trying to be health conscious and eco-friendly at the same time, it’s nice to see that some products out there actually do both. This water bottle has a built in filter so all you have to do is fill it with water from the tap and let the bottle do the rest. Now, you do need to change the filter occasioanlly, but if you want fresh, clean water on the go without having to drop $3 for a bottle every time, then this is the way to go.

For the longest time, I didn’t give much thought to my clothes washer. I would put the clothes in, add the detergent, turn the knobs and wait. But recently I had to replace my washer with a new one and discovered that front load washers are actually better. You can load more clothes each time and they use remove more water during the spin cycle. This means less water for the dryer to deal with, leading to shorter dry times and less gas used.

My dad lives in Florida. So I’ve had plenty of opportunity to taste Florida water. And I have to admit I don’t care for it all. Which is what led us to getting a Brita Pitcher. It works great. We pour water right from the tap into the pitcher and the pitcher filters the water very quickly. And, boy, does it taste a LOT better. I highly recommend the Brita Pitcher.
