The Fault in Our Stars is an Amazing Movie!

blog-fiosIt seems like summer is the season when all of the best movies come out in the movie theater. After reading the book by John Green, I just had to check out “The Fault in Our Stars” this weekend and I’m really, really glad I did! This is probably one of my new favorite movies and I’m actually thinking of going to see it again next weekend with my sister.

This is definitely a ¬†movie that pulls at your heart-strings and you can see why if you check out the brief movie description on iMDb, “Hazel and Gus are two teenagers who share an acerbic wit, a disdain for the conventional, and a love that sweeps them on a journey. Their relationship is all the more miraculous given that Hazel’s other constant companion is an oxygen tank, Gus jokes about his prosthetic leg, and they met and fell in love at a cancer support group.”

Have You Checked Out The New Hunger Games Movie?

Have you made to to the movie theater to check out the newest Hunger Games movie? I have and it’s great! I loved the first one. I liked it so much that I went to it twice in theaters and bought it when it came out on DVD! I read the book AFTER I went to see the movie and decided to read the Catching Fire book BEFORE this movie came out. By the way, what’s your rule? Are you somebody that has to read the book first or go to the movie first?

I don’t want to ruin anything for you in case you haven’t even seen the first Hunger Games movie yet and plan on it, but Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson play a fantastic Katniss and Peeta.
