I love the collection of printable signs that they have on Etsy. These are usually reasonably priced (this one is only $8) and can be printed at home. They can easily be placed in an 8 1/2 inches by 11 inch frame and hung on the wall or set on a shelf. I’ve also purchased a bigger, 12 inch by 18 inch frame with a 8 1/2 inch by 11 inch mat that coordinates and it makes a little larger wall hanging.
I like this printable sign of “Nana and Papa’s House Rules” a lot and it’d be a perfect gift to give grandparents from the grand kids. This is also a great way to save money because it’s a very inexpensive yet personal gift.
If you haven’t checked out some of the other signs on Etsy, they have them for almost every occasion and person!
Let’s FACE it, the holidays can be super stressful. Between the shopping, crowds, cleaning, traveling, cooking, baking, and holiday parties the month of December can seem a tad overwhelming. As much as I love the holidays and love this time of year, I always breathe a breath of fresh air in January and try to take a day for myself to relax.
I know many other people feel this way too. As a stocking stuffer this year, a couple of people in my family are going to have the opportunity to experience these facials Orange County has to offer at CloudMover Day Spa in Huntington Beach (hehehe see what I did with the word “face” in my opening sentence!?!). I feel so relaxed and rejuvenated after some time at the spa and I know these ladies will appreciate this as they are just as busy as I am during this time of year!
I’ve been in “redecorating” mode lately and am trying to look towards other stores than the normal ones that I usually head to. I do a lot of online shopping and went over on etsy to get a scarf. I saw that they have an entire section of wall decor and home decorations.
I really like this wall hanging but there are so many that I love that I don’t even know where to start!
These would make great additions to your own home and they would also be fantastic wedding gifts or housewarming presents.
Here’s a tip: If you’re looking for matching and coordinating items for a room, check out somebody’s home decor shop. They often times have similar items!
I’m a wine lover. I have a wine-themed kitchen, regularly throw wine tasting parties, and love going to the local vineyards around the area. I’ve learned so much over time about how wine is made and essentially how it “works”.
I’m always looking for the latest and greatest products to purchase for myself and for my friends as gifts. I found this this air cork wine sealer and instantly knew that I had to get it. Once a bottle of wine is opened, it begins to oxidize. This changes the flavor as well as the components of the wine. With this product, you pump up the grapes and it creates an airtight seal to prevent the oxidation. Even better is that it’s less than $8! This would make a fantastic gift for the wine lovers in your life…including yourself!
Yesterday I posted about macaroons, massages and manis, so today I thought I would get a massage. Although I may not be able to live the life of an Upper East Sider I can pretend! Today I treated myself to a massage in Orange County, it’s not New York but it works for me :).
After my massage I painted my own nails, and then made some baked goodies. With all the holiday madness I thought I would remove myself from it and enjoy a quiet day. Being around all the holiday shoppers and people bustling around town makes me exhausted, as I’m sure it does to all of you. Instead of joining in the holiday activities I decided today that I will make my own holiday, peaceful and relaxing.
