I love comedy movies. There is nothing better then sitting down to watch a movie after a long day at work and being able to laugh and relax. I prefer comedy over any other genre and never get sick of it! Some of my favorite movies include: Bridesmaids, We’re the Millers, Stepbrothers, Wedding Crashers, and now The Internship.
This is a movie with Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson (which is why I love Wedding Crashers, too… they make a great duo). They are adult men who know nothing about computers and go back to get a college-level internship with Google. I recommend this movie for anybody who likes comedies. This is available on DVD and Blu Ray. I usually feel like the best deal is on the combo pack!
What are your favorite movies?
I’ve been watching a ton of good movies lately. I feel like most of the good movies come out in movie theaters during the summer months which means that most of the good movies are being released on DVD and Blu Ray right before the holidays and through the spring months. Although this movie has been out for a couple of months, I highly suggest checking it out. It may have even come down in price since it first was released into stores.
If you haven’t seen the movie “Now You See Me“, I definitely recommend that you check it out. This is a fantastic movie that had me on the edge of my seat! Mark Ruffalo is one of my favorite actors (so I may be biased in this review) and it was nice seeing him in the role that he played.
What are some good movies that you have seen lately?
If you have a friend who looks at movies as a mobile art form, then this would be a great gift idea for their next birthday. This DVD of the Month club doesn’t stuff your mailbox with typical Hollywood blockbuster fare, this club foces more on foreign and independent films for the dsicriminating viewer.
Family Guy has never shied away from the fact that they are Star Wars fans. The creators of the show have done special episodes where characters from Family Guy re-enact the original trilogy with a twist. The final chapter is this particular saga will soon be available for home consumption.
I went and saw this movie in the theater, with the 3-D glasses and everything. I have to honestly say this is one of the most trite and preachy movies I have ever seen. I’m not saying we shouldn’t care about the environment or that we need to change, but to get that message handed to me in the form of this movie is condescending. I like to call this movie “Dances with Smurfs.”
