Online Chess

August 20th, 2010

As much as archery is less than an ideal online activity, chess is perfectly suited for online participation. There are many outlets to play chess, but this is the best. It’s free, you can play a single match over several days and you can watch videos to help improve your play.

Online Archery

August 19th, 2010

Online classes are a real economic method for continuing your education. However, there are some subjects where an online approach is less than ideal. Archery is one of those. I don’t doubt that the people who operate this website know their craft, but it just seems that archery is one of those subjects that could turn deadly in the hands of someone left to their own devices.

online alarm clock

August 18th, 2010

If you go to sleep near your computer, you probably need to take a step back and go for a walk, but if you need to wake up at a certain time, there is a free online alarm clock you can utilize. It takes up the whole browser window and can be set to any specific time of the day. The alarm is loud enough, based on your computers volume setting, such that you won’t sleep through it.

Retro games

August 16th, 2010

There are a lot of game sites that allow you to play games online for free. Then there are some sites that make you jump through hoop after hoop. Retrogamer is one of the latter. In order to play some old games, you have to download and install a toolbar for your web browser and live with a plethora of pop-up windows. I hate pop-up windows, so I don’t think I will be playing games on this site any time soon.

Novelty T-Shirts

August 13th, 2010

I never got out of that whole funny t-shirt thing as I grew up. As a result, I love when t-shirts have clever or funny sayings or plays on words. This is one of those that makes me laugh out loud. I don’t understand fantasy football personally, but I think anyone who plays probably would dig this one.

Salvador Dali made a name for himself with his paintings of melting clocks and other eye catching images. Well, this wall clock takes that concept and puts it into reality. This is a functioning clock, so try using this to figure out how much time you have before that big meeting.

Baggy Pants

August 11th, 2010

Relive the 80s fashion (or lack thereof) with the help of these baggy pants from The Rusty Zipper. These pants are brand new but others might have a little wear and tear on them. I had a pair of these with the logo of my favorite baseball team on them.

Dry Rub

August 9th, 2010

Some people like their BBQ to have the sauce and seasoning after the meat is cooked, while some like to season the meat before it goes on the grill. If you prefer the latter, you’ll want this BBQ dry rub from Woody’s. A special blend of herbs and spices will make your taste buds sing as you chow down.
