Digital cameras have made novice photographers feel like pros. But shutter delays and limited zoom make for pretty ordinary pictures. Digital SLRs are to picture-taking what LCDs & Plasmas are to TV-watching! A great gift for the photo enthusiast.

The Kodak EasyShare Z1485 IS is a dandy little camera. I have mine in pink but it also comes in blue. This camera is very user-friendly and takes great shots.
This camera is 14 megapixels, has 5x zoom and takes photos in HD. The camera comes with a wrist strap, user guide with software, battery, USB cable, and plastic insert for use in Kodak docking systems (sold separately).
This camera takes great pictures, has fairly decent video capability, and is really easy to use. It has a self timer, program and manual modes, wide angle and telephoto buttons, and a built-in help system (this is a neat feature). This camera is recommend it to anyone looking for a user-friendly compact camera.

The BG-E6 Battery Grip fits only the Canon 5D Mark II Digital Camera. It is a very nice grip in that it allows you to get double the battery life out of your camera by holding two lithium ion battteries. It also gives you two different options to power up your camera, either through lithium ion batteries or six AA batteries.
The battery grip is portable and easy to carry with you. Also, it fits on the bottom of the camera very easily, and is sturdy as well. This battery grip is rather expensive but well worth the price. After all, it is an accessory to a camera which in itself is rather expensive.
If you are investing in a really good camera like the Canon 5D Mark II, you need a battery grip that will be able to keep pace with it, and that definitely is the BG-E6. It even looks nice on the bottom of the camera, and helps you to grip the camera better when you are holding it. An all-around great grip.

The LensPen is a great utility to help keep your camera lenses clean. The LensPen is a double-sided cleaning tool in the shape of a pen. One side contains an extractable brush for dusting the lens. The other end of the LensPen contains a cleaning tip that contains a chemical cleaning solution which is released when it is rubbed against the lens surface. It also has a clip like any other pen so you can clip it to your shirt if you want to.
Even with the cleaning solution long used up, the cleaning tip still works great to remove smudges from the lens surface. LensPen claims to be safe for all lens and their coatings.

My husband uses a Canon 30D and is an amateur photographer who has won awards for his photos. He just broke down and bought this new lens and LOVES it.
He is just amazed at how sharp the image is. I had him give me one of his photos to use here. Take a look at this iris, the one in front. (The rear one is purposely blurred.) You can see every line, every fold. You can even see the white fluffy cottonwood clinging to it.
He can’t believe he waited as long as he did to buy it.
