The best way to describe Crazy Forts is it’s basically a Tinker Toy-like set that enables you to construct internal frameworks to create awesome bedroom forts. These forts will be so much fun to make, it will be hard to take them down. Thumbs up!

The different ‘training’ games that you play are very simple and based on how long it takes you to complete, together with how many you get correct. Simple arithmetic calculations in sets of twenty or one hundred, reading aloud, some memory type games among others are included.
Dr. Ryuta Kawashima of Japan is the prominent neuroscientist whose work the game is based on. His animated head ‘talks’ to you, explaining as you go. Don’t expect great graphics or anything like that. This is pretty straight forward. A stylus comes with the DS and this is how you answer your math problems. You just write in your answers. Some of the games allow you to speak your answers.

It wasn’t that long ago that we finally saw Blu-ray players dip below the magic $100 mark. Now, Newegg is offering a refurbished Magnavox NB500MG9 Blu-ray player for $79.99 shipped.
That’s a new low, big time, so this will absolutely, positively sell out quickly. If you’re interested, chop-chop. (Make that click-click.)
The RNB500MG9 features 1080p output and upconversion and Blu-ray Profile 1.1. However, that’s about it in the specs department. If you insist on BD-Live and other frilly features, keep walking.
Though I’ve covered this model before, I still haven’t found any substantial reviews. If you already own an RNB500MG9, hit the comments and let us know what you think of it!
Newegg doesn’t specify the warranty (whats up, ‘Egg?), but I’m fairly confident it’s a refurb-standard 90-day guarantee. (I’m checking with the vendor and will post an update in the comments when I find out.)
If you do miss out on Newegg’s deal, Sears has the same model for $99.99 shipped (plus sales tax).

This is the latest edition to the collection of Christmas dinnerware by Portmeirion. This piece is called the Yule Log Platter and is part of the accessories collection.
If you know someone who is a collector of these dishes (or any dishes) this is a very important piece because it has a very important part of the story printed on it. The words printed on this platter are “Now, Dasher! now, Dancer now Prancer and Vixen! On, Comet! on, Cupid! on, Donder and Blitzen!”
The platter has the same trim around the sides with a green border and holly leaves as the rest of the set and features Santa flying through the night sky in a sleigh full of toys and being pulled by his reindeer. The background on this plate has a beautiful blue night sky instead of the more common white backgrounds that appear on some of the other pieces. The platter is 16 inches log so it will accommodate a good size yule log and makes a great cookie of cheese tray as well.

This is a great idea if you’re looking for a special gift. This company cures black & white or color photos provided by the customer onto crystal shapes, with choices including a square, heart, and iceberg.
The crystal remains clear, and you’re still able to see through the photo. They are available in a variety of sizes with prices ranging from $28.95 to $78.95 at PictureOnCrystal.com.
A friend of mine recently got one of her daughter for Mother’s Day and she absolutely loves it!
