There were two painting shows on PBS when I was a kid that I absolutely loved watching. There was a German fellow and then there was Bob Ross. I always found watching him to be therapeutic. Now, I can watch him whenever I want with collections of his painting shows on DVD. I can feel the serenity now.

I remember using a similar art when I was a kid! This art set is still fun for kids today!

More and more people are embracing their artistic side and artistic printmaking is no exception! Printmaking, like everything else in the art world, exploded in the first half of the 20th century. This is a process where an artist etches their designs on one plate or surface. The plates can be of metal, wood or linoleum blocks. Sometimes plexiglass, shellacked book boards and lithographic stones are used as well.
