I really wish I was making this one up. Someone has found a way to recycle elephant poop into a journal and paper box. It can’t have any odor because noone would buy it, but how can you use this knowing what it is and where it came from? There should be some basic rules of hygeine we should all follow.

Irish dog bowl

I’m all for expressing pride and pleasure in your ancestral heritage, but at some point pride crosses over into the realm of the ridiculous. Case in point, an Irish themed dog bowl. Why in the world would you feel the need for something like this? The dog can’t read and the words at the bottom of the bowl won’t be looked at very often.

Fish tank decor

This may be a rhetorically stupid question, but is fish tank decor more for the fish or the human? Considering how elaborate some of these items are, I can’t imagine a fish looking at this Mayan temple and pondering the possible existence of aliens.

Cat play center

When I see stuff like this cat play center, I almost wish I was a cat myself. I can honestly imagine myself having a lot of fun with one of these things. I guess this could be the equivalent of a tree house for humans, but cats are much more agile, so there’s less risk of broken bones.

Bird Toy

I have a friend who has a couple of birds in her house. I always thought birds just entertained themselves preening and singing, eating and pooping. I guess some birds need a little more entertainment than that. These bird toys look fairly complex, but my friend says they love them.

Dog shirts

Of all the pet accessories I have ever seen and never really quite understood, it’s the dog shirts. Shirts that are for your dog to wear. Every dog I’ve ever seen has always tried to get these things off. But, if some dogs like it, and with Halloween coming shortly, then a pumpkin t-shirt for a dog is in season.

Pet Bed

I have two dogs and they both enjoy sleeping on our bed during the night. It doesn’t matter how many times we tell them to get down, they still end up on the bed. So, we’re going to buy them some pet beds so they will sleep on a nice cushion on the floor instead of our mattress.

The almost indestrucitble Ball

This one is for your dog and is available only online at petsmart.com. The actual name for this product is the almost indestructible ball. My question: At what point does it become destructible? I want something my dogs can enjoy without tearing up and leaving bits and pieces all over the house. So, if they tell it’s almost indestructible, I don’t if it’s going to stand up with my dogs, and I have some fairly big dogs.

Omega Paw Tricky Treat Ball

I love that I can fill this ball up with their kibble and they’ll entertain themselves for hours pushing it down the stairs and around the house. It’s a lot less noisy than the cube version. This toy is easy to clean up too, ran it right through the dishwasher with no problems. It was easy to teach them to bring the Tricky Treat Ball back to me for a refill when needed.
